WWDC 2026: everything Apple unveils on 8 June (iOS 27, AI-powered Siri and more)
Quick summary: Apple holds WWDC 2026 from 8 to 12 June, keynote on Monday 8 June at 6:00 PM (BST). The past weeks’ leaks already reveal much of iOS 27: a completely redesigned, AI-powered Siri, fresh design and a clear list of supported iPhones.
When and how to watch
The conference runs 8–12 June (hybrid, Apple Park). The keynote streams live on apple.com, the Apple TV app and Apple’s official YouTube channel. Start: 6:00 PM (BST).
The new Siri: the big leap

Leaked images show a brand-new Siri with, for the first time, a standalone app in the style of modern chat assistants: dark interface, an “Ask Siri” field, a microphone and a paperclip for files. From the Dynamic Island, a swipe triggers the “Search or Ask” feature. The new Siri is powered by Google Gemini technology within Apple Intelligence (from iPhone 15 Pro onwards).
More iOS 27 changes
- “Liquid Glass” design with a slider for transparency and contrast.
- Visual Intelligence in the Camera.
- Redesigns across Safari, Photos, Image Playground and Weather; new animations.
Is your iPhone compatible?
iOS 27 runs on the iPhone 12 and newer. iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max and iPhone SE (2nd gen) miss out, but keep getting security updates on iOS 26.
Hardware

No new iPhone (those arrive in autumn). There’s talk of possible Mac Studio, Mac mini or iMac with an M5 chip.
